The better route to get to the resort is from the east, either from Robbinsville or Bryson City. If you have a large motorhome or a long RV, then I would highly suggest that you use that route. Anyone coming in from the west will most likely have to travel through Deal’s Gap and that is 318 tight curves in 11 miles. There is another 9 miles stretch on SR 28 and it too is very curvy.
NO! You will have to travel several miles in either direction in order to get a signal (depending on your carrier). The signal from BellSouth and ATT can be reached near Robbinsville.

The closest grocery store is in Robbinsville and that is 20 miles east of the resort. There is a convenience store, a general store, a gift shop, an ice cream shop, and a post office on the resort grounds.
The closest liquor store is in Bryson City, 32 miles east, however beer is available at the Pit Stop (on grounds) and there is a bar in the main lounge. Also, according to state regulations, at any event that there is a cash bar, you are not allowed to BYOB.
Yes, there will be a designated area to park motorcycle trailers. Check the resort check in desk for the site.
The early June temperatures are mid 70's to mid 80's in the daytime, mid 60's to lower 70's at night. The resort is in a mountainous area, thus sudden thunderstorms are likely anytime. A light jacket or sweater might be a welcome item on a cool evening. If you intend to participate is some activity that requires special clothing, I'd bring that along also.
Yes. In front of the Recreation Hall there is a car/bike wash area. Supplies are available nearby.
